502. For the purposes of Division VI of Chapter V relating to the educational services contemplated in section 1, any person who is not a member of the religious denomination, whether Catholic or Protestant, of a school board including a regional school board, whether for Catholics or Protestants, is not under the jurisdiction of that school board.
Nothing in this section shall prevent a school board from providing, according to the terms of an agreement entered into pursuant to section 213, services to persons not under its jurisdiction.
